But for iGaming to compete, the experience needs to adapt, push the boundaries, and meet the needs of the new generations of players.
Founded in 2021, BeyondPlay is a concept envisioned as a response to both the opportunities and challenges presented by the latest trends observed in Gaming's rapidly growing world. Formerly known as SharedPlay, we have rebranded to a new, bigger and bolder name in October, and you can watch our rebrand story here.
BeyondPlay (formerly SharedPlay) was founded by Karolina Pelc, previously leading product teams of award-winning iGaming Operators. Pelc recognized early that what creates engagement in video games, despite the modern-day multi-screen distractions, is the community connection – an element largely missing proper implementation within a real-money gaming proposition.
Having observed first-hand a shift towards new consumption patterns within players and her younger industry colleagues' circles, Karolina secured the financial backing of some of the industry's most prominent figures for the project of building a disruptive B2B technology provider laying the foundations for the future of multiplier gaming.With funding in place and a team of Rockstar's sharing a passion for innovation, BeyondPlay was ready to shake things up and bring a unique experience to the world of iGaming.
With our team's combined experience and niche expertise, spanning from multiplayer live dealer games and video streaming, to the latest product development and technology solutions, the vision for BeyondPlay is to be on the frontier of redefining how people play. BeyondPlay combines a custom-build platform with streaming technology and social features, creating an interactive, multiplayer proposition for Operators, Game Providers and players alike. The product is perfectly aligned with market insights which suggest that communities significantly impact game and player retention.
